Lot 522 1854 C-1 R1+. PCGS graded MS-63 Brown. CAC.Lustrous medium brown. Looks mint state but there are some microscopic ticks scattered over both sides, none notable but too many to ignore for a mint state piece. MDS, Manley state 2.0. The dash left of the base of the 1 is dull but clearly visible and there is a well-defined lump on the upper half of the I in UNITED. Our grade is AU58.The attribution and Widok Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 8 finer.
