S-290. CHOICE in every way! A soft, warm, brown luster accents smooth, problem free, hard surfaces. Areas of deeper brown accents areas attesting to its originality. Sharply struck devices with crisp definition throughout John Reich's design. The eye appeal is superb, and the quality is fully CHOICE. PCGS 11, NGC 1, CAC 1. This coin is the only MS62+ BN graded at either service, and has not sold in auction. CU lists a value of $10,500, which seems low. A PCGS-graded MS62 BN example, ex Brown-Reynolds sold for $14,100 in September 2016. This one is higher quality. A great type coin for this historically important year. Cert.
