Losbeschreibung: What a great, original GEM Proof Seated half dollar. Bold watery reflective mirrors beam and gleam all over surrounding the sharply struck devices that have a full frost. The cameo contrast really stands out when rotated in a light. Both sides have a rich cobalt and amber frame around the brilliant, clear-gold tinged centers. The surfaces are free of any distracting marks, indeed most of what is seen with a glass are mint made lint marks and die lines. The GEM eye appeal is great. Only 1,000 Proof halves were struck. PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 1. No CAC-approved example has ever sold in auction and just one PR66 CAM is finer at PCGS in the designation.
