Lot Description

1892 Liberty Half Eagle. MS-66 (NGC). Bathed in blazing luster and exceptional eye appeal for this date. The strike is sharp throughout and the surfaces are a delight to ponder. There are a couple of tiny ticks in the fields, but after all these were struck, then slide down a chute into a bin, other coins piled on top, so at best just a handful of the top examples in the bin of any days production would not be marked up. Then to be set aside and saved in such incredible condition requires both luck and care.
