Lot Description
DREAMY and oh so hard to come by with the coveted green bean CAC designation. This coin looks like an MS-63 at first blush as the strike is outstanding and the luster is deep and sweeps over satiny fields. Upon closer inspection with strong magnification, a few imperfections are noted with a small rim tick above star 7 and a few small dimples on Liberty's cheek. Although this is not a particularly tough date to find, it is still a low mintage issue with a mere 30,475 pieces coined. PCGS 22, NGC 8, CAC 7. No CAC designated pieces have crossed the auction block for the grade. The last piece to trade at auction that was non-CAC was in March 2019 for $19,200. Since CAC graded gold is known to sell for thousands of dollars over non-CAC specimens, we expect to see spirited bidding and a strong price set when this coin crosses the block. Best of luck! Cert.
