Lot Description

Flashy, intensely brilliant red mirrored surfaces beam boldly from all over. At certain angles they contrast boldly against the devices, creating a near-cameo look. A couple of toning "streaks" give the obverse a woodgrain look. The devices are very sharply impressed and the eye appeal is quite lovely. Surprisingly RARE so fine, excessively so any finer. PCGS 26, NGC 11. The most recent example sold for $1,020 in May 2022. The PCGS Price Guide value is $1,300. NOTE: Just two are finer in the RD category, both are PR66 RD and neither has ever sold in auction. This is a pleasing example of this under appreciated condition rarity. Cert.
