1794 Talbot, Allum & Lee Cent. Fuld-3, W-8580. With NEW YORK. Small & on Reverse. Copper. Lettered Edge. EF-45 (PCGS). 159.4 grains. Type with small NEW YORK in field above the reverse ship. Edge: PAYABLE AT THE STORE OF. Deep chestnut-brown with a glossy overall appearance and warm olive highlights. Late reverse die state, heavy cracks at LLUM &amp; LE. <strong>Breen-1032:</strong> "The other variety, Fuld-3, has N of NEW entirely beyond A, and is very rare." An attractive piece -- from a late state of the reverse -- that should attract more than one specialist.
