This is a fully struck Superb Gem Proof with glassy fields supporting satiny motifs. The entire package is dressed in iridescent pinkish-silver toning with streaks of enhancing steel-olive and russet largely confined to the obverse. An uncommonly high grade and visually impressive survivor from a Proof mintage of 846 quarters of this date.
