1867 Liberty Head Half Eagle. AU-53 (PCGS). This is a boldly detailed example with substantial mint luster remaining in the fields and protected areas of the design. Moderate amounts of field chatter contribute to the grade. The 1867 half eagle comes from a mintage of only 6,870 pieces and is seldom seen in any grade.
