1849 Braided Hair Cent. N-2. Rarity-2. MS-64 BN (PCGS). CAC. A lovely cent with frosty chocolate-brown surfaces and no distracting marks or spots. Wonderful eye appeal and originality. A popular and interesting variety infamous for its multitude of collectible die states based on the reverse die crumbling. This is an early to middle die state, Grellman state (n).
