Conditionally RARE, this GEM is tied for the second FINEST graded at PCGS. Vivid mint brilliance has a satiny/frosty glow that accents a sharp strike. The obverse has a pale, iridescent toning, while the reverse has a marble-like pattern of icy-silver blue, coppery amber-gold, and rich slate-pewter. The eye appeal is very high end and totally original. PCGS 10, NGC 9, CAC 2. No CAC-approved MS65 has ever sold in auction. Since 1998, there has been only seven appearances of a PCGS MS65 in auction--think about that, in 20 years, only 7examples have sold in auction! The record price was in March 2006 when one sold for $6,900. The most recent example sold in April 2017 for a mere $2,350 but the current Collector's Universe is a more realistic $3,750.
