1855-S Liberty Head Double Eagle. Small S. AU-50 (NGC). Warm golden surfaces blend with soft pinkish-apricot patina on both sides of this lovely 1855-S double eagle. Smartly impressed with overall sharp definition, this lovely AU coin will have no problem finding it's way into a discriminating collector's cabinet. This lot includes the original box, informational CD on the S.S. Republicand Certificate of Authenticity, as issued by Odyssey Marine Exploration.
