1865 Round 25 Cents. BG-803. Rarity-5+. Liberty Head. MS-64 (PCGS). OGH. Widely reeded edge. Bright and lustrous yellow gold with pale olive highlights and outstanding contrast between the frosty motifs and mirrored fields. From a highly polished obverse die with the bridge of Liberty's nose completely polished out of the die. A popular Frontier & Co. issue, active 1864-1872.
