Lot Description

A very pleasing mid-grade example of this low mintage late date. Only 10,000 half dollars were struck for circulation in 1881 and they are more common in Mint State than in circulated grades! PCGS 5, NGC 1. The last VF30 to sell was back in March 2012, which realized $633 and the CU value is listed at $725. Very pleasing! Certification Number 81465652 PCGS # 6363
