149.8 grains. Light steel brown with slightly lighter high points. Light porosity and a couple of striated natural flaws, one of which connects to a scratch in from the obverse rim left of the effigy. Probably the third finest when compared to those in our archives behind the Mint State Syd Martin primary coin (ex Miller, Ryder, Boyd, Ford) and an AU in our March 2021 sale. Both were sharp and evenly struck. The Oechsner-Partrick coin was fairly outstanding, but uneven, flawed and a bit oxidized in one area, and the Newman Collection also produced a pretty good one. This might still be worthy of the lower Condition Census. From the famous 1975 EAC sale and Roper Collection.
