Lot Description

A lovely and original SUPERB GEM. A bold, satin mint frost glows below a rich layer of toning, likely imparted from long term storage in an original cardboard Mint Set holder. Soft golden-russet toning adorns the lustrous surfaces. Clean and totally devoid of all but the most insignificant ticks, visible only with a glass. The eye appeal is exceptional. PCGS 22, NGC 15. Prior to the one that sold for $3,355 in December 2022, the last one sold in 2019 for $6,000. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $6,000.
