- Lot 204 1809 S-280. PCGS graded AU-53.Glossy light to medium chocolate brown. Mint frost covers the fields and protected areas on both sides and this cent has excellent eye appeal. No spots or stains, but there are very shallow planchet flakes on the bust tip and near the dentils at stars 1-4 (all as struck). The only contact marks are a few microscopic pinpricks between the earlobe and front edge of the neck. LDS, Breen state VII, with flowlined fields and two small internal cud breaks in the leaves at the top of the wreath. Our grade is EF40. The attribution and Great Pacific Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
