Lot Description: WOW! This is an AMAZING and pristine beauty! Everything about this coin is very high end and very eye appealing! Deep, ultra reflective mirrored fields beam from all over. They are the epitome of clarity and cleanliness. You really need a pair of dark sunglasses to view the blinding reflection of this SUPERB GEM. The frosty devices are sharply impressed and have a thick, white, frosted texture, showing a bold, dramatic black and white CAMEO contrast. The eye appeal is quite vivid, exceptional, and SUPERB! Only 590 Proofs were struck. PCGS 5, NGC 14, CAC 2. No CAC approved example as ever sold in auction. The most recent non-CAC coin sold over seven years ago, realizing $18,630 in February 2012. More recently we sold a non-CAC PR66+ for $17,037 in February 2015. Clearly the current Collector's Universe value of $20,000 is too low and based on outdated information. We can see this coin selling for $25,000+. Only 1 is graded PR68 CAM and the DCAMs are excessively rare. Worthy of the FINEST sets of Proof Morgan dollars and a strong bid to take it home. Cert.
