KEENLY STRUCK with no sign of weakness in Liberty's hair or on the eagle. Nice sharp separation of the hair strands and eagle's feathers. Highly lustrous fields are toned in magenta and orange peel accents. Far above average for what we normally see offered for sale for the grade. This coin looks like it has claims to a higher grade (no promises). Even with strong magnification, the surface marks are negligible. Housed in an old green label holder. A CHERRY piece for the Dahlonega Mint collector. PCGS 57, NGC 34. PCGS Price Guide is $5,000. In August 2022 an example sold for $3,840, then you must to go back to August of 2019 for another sale where the coin fetched $2,640.
