1855 Braided Hair Cent. N-9. Rarity-1. Noyes Die State E. Slanting 5s, Knob on Ear. MS-65 RB (NGC). CAC. A lively blend of frosty mint orange and warm rose-tan supports bold cartwheel luster on surfaces that yield no visible marks to the unassisted eye. The popular variety with a "knob" die cud just above Liberty's ear; this cud starts out nearly invisible and grows through the various die states. Choice for the grade. PCGS# 403959.
