Lot Description
R-7-. 7-12 Minted. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. What a dazzling, real RED GEM! We think the only reason CAC did not sticker it-the reverse has some light toning. Really red coins like this are rare! Bold mirrors blaze from all over. They magnify the bold Mint Red color. Again, there is some light splotchy toning on the reverse. Overall, the mirrors are clean and sleek. Every detail is frosty and has a fully strike. The eye appeal is great! PCGS 2, NGC 0. This coin last sold way back in April 2002 for $2,300. Mr. Simpson obtained it in the mega collection he bought in 2008 for $4,700. The current Collectors Universe Value is $4,500. Good luck! PCGS # 80929 Cert. Number 30931273 PCGS # 80929
