Lot Description

1804 Draped Bust Cent. S-266, the only known dies. Rarity-2. Noyes Die State A. Good-4 (PCGS). CAC. Struck from the earliest state of the dies, this specimen shows no signs of the rim cuds that form later in the die marriage. The medium golden-brown surfaces reveal no substantial blemishes or marks, and other than wear, this key-date coin is visually pleasing and physically sound. We agree heartily with CAC on this one!
