1886 Seated Liberty Half Dollar. Proof-66 Deep Cameo (PCGS). Secure Holder. One of the lowest-mintage dates in the entire Seated Liberty Half Dollar series of 1839-1891, the 1886 has a combined proof and business strike delivery of only 5,886 coins. From the year's 886-piece proof issue comes this delectable Gem with stark field-to-device contrast. A deeply cameoed finish is easily seen as the centers are virtually brilliant, although we do note speckles of rose-russet iridescence here and there at the borders. Fully impressed from the dies, and expertly preserved with nary a detracting blemish in evidence. Delightful!
