THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION, PART IV Another very challenging date to find in high grade Mint State, this 68-S is just below the condition census for the date. High grade survivors are RARE and infrequently offered in auction or in dealer stock. This frosty example exudes a bold satiny white luster that is a delight to behold. Well struck devices are set against generally clean fields, only a few light marks are noted under intense scrutiny. The eye appeal is nice. PCGS 7, NGC 2. The last one sold back in November 2018 for $3,600 and the current Collectors Universe value is listed at $3,750. PCGS has graded fewer than 10 example finer, pretty evenly distributed from MS64 to MS67. This is a lovely and affordable example that will impress any Seated Liberty half dollar collector. Cert.
