Losbeschreibung: From the Pharma Collection. This is a terrific heavily contrasted GEM Proof (unusual for a post 1900 date). The quality is all there and then some! Super deep mirrors beam boldly from all over. The mirrors have bold clarity, are ultra clean, and are intensely reflective. Indeed, when you twirl the coin, they roll like liquid. There is a subtle hint of gold-although the coin is really black and white. Miss Liberty and every detail are needle sharp in strike and all of the devices are covered in a rich original creamy white frost (unusual for a post 1900 Proof). The eye appeal is fantastic! ONLY 813 were minted. PCGS 9, NGC 5, CAC 3. PCGS has graded 4 higher (NONE of which have ever sold via auction). The last sales record for a PCGS CAC PR 67 Cameo was from November 2012 where one sold for $9,400. This is not a date or grade we ever see offered. This coin has been off the market for many years with a Legend customer. This coin will make a tremendous addition to any GEM PR Cameo Barber set.
