Lot Description

Dappled steely brown and deeper blue overtones are visible on this lustrous early Matron Head cent. As you rotate this Uncirculated example in a light, hints of olive and old gold come out adding to the colorful palette. Somewhat blunt in strike there is some of the typical weakness encountered on this date. A couple of light marks are noted, including one at the O of ONE on the reverse. A very pleasing type coin overall.
