Lot Description

Nicholas Jackson Collection. Overton-110a, "ugly 3". As is often seen for this famous "name variety", Liberty displays a boldly doubled profile. Hazy patina has settled across the entire surface, yielding tinges of orange nearer the borders, especially on the reverse. Not one single mark bears particular mention and the grade reflects light wear overall, flying in the face of considerable sparkling luster that nearly manages to propagate completely through the fields.
