Lot Description

1829 Capped Bust Dime. JR-1. Rarity-4. Extra Large 10C. MS-63 (NGC). OH. Deep russet-gold and blue throughout with the usual soft strike on the upper curls and the eagle's neck and wing. This is one of the finer examples seen of this variety, with a few other Mint State pieces reported, but likely in the Condition Census near the middle of those known. Scattered light handling marks when examined.
