1851-O Liberty Seated Half Dime. MS-65+ (PCGS). CAC. We are particularly fortunate to be offering multiple high grade examples of this conditionally challenging New Orleans Mint issue in this sale. This beautiful premium Gem is splashed with mottled rose-russet and steel-olive patina on the obverse, the reverse with a few glints of olive to dominant antique silver toning. A pronounced prooflike finish in the fields contrasts with a softly frosted texture to overall boldly struck design elements.
