Plenty of vivid mint orange color remains on surfaces that also display blushes of warm olive-brown patina. The fields are semi-mirrored in finish, while the fully impressed devices exhibit a soft satin texture. An ideal candidate for an advanced Proof Indian cent collection or, in lieu of a key date circulation strike 1877, a high quality date set of this type. Estimated Proof mintage: 910 pieces (per Rick Snow, 2014).
