Lot 325 1852 N-7 R1 Repunched Date PCGS graded AU58.Very attractive glossy medium brown and light chocolate. Satiny mint frost covers the fields and the only marks are a spot of slightly darker reddish brown toning left of star 11 and a very dull nick on the lower half of the N in CENT. This cent has mint state eye appeal but there is a touch of rub on the highest points of the devices. LDS, die state d. The fields are flowlined, the repunching on the date is gone, and there are two die cracks on the obverse. Our grade is AU50+. Comes with a nice provenance. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
