Lot Description

A high end AU 53, last offered in my January 2014 FUN Show sale, MB 38, where it brought $1,210.  I described lot 35 this way: A gossamer sheen of pale gold toning contributes to the exceptional eye appeal of this modestly graded half-dollar.  Bold luster encompasses the devices and smooth fields, making a strong argument for a step or two up on the ladder of AU bust halves. It is as pretty today as it was 7 years ago. Estimate: $1,000 to $1,300
