Lot Description

O-105a, as attributed by NGC. Extremely attractive at any grade, a secondary toning process has placed lovely indigo and cyan-green hues at the edge of each side, joined toward the fields by shimmering flame-orange. Fragile grey patina further embraces the entire coin but in no way inhibits underlying luster. The eagle's left wing always appears ill-defined for O-105a, though this example actually displays substantial internal definition.
