Description du lot: THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION, PART IV Intensely reflective mirrors beam boldly on both sides of this essentially GEM Cameo example from this important Civil War year. Deep, clear mirrored fields have a wonderful, sleek finish and bright, brilliant flash. The sharply struck up devices have a thick, white, frosted finish that contrasts boldly against the surrounding fields. Light lines are noted for the sake of accuracy, but the eye appeal is wonderful. Only 500 Proofs were struck. PCGS 20, NGC 13. The most recent non-CAC PCGS PR64 sold in our April 2021 offering of the Boylston Collection, where an example sold for $3,055. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $4,750.
