- Lot Description
- 1835 Capped Bust Dime. JR-8. Rarity-3. MS-61 (PCGS).
Frosty and lustrous with deep multicolored iridescence over the obverse; the reverse is somewhat brighter with similar shades in a "target" display. The JR-8 variety is slightly scarcer (R-3). A pleasing coin that is far finer to the unaided eye than the assigned grade implies.
Provenance: From the Rockford Collection - Part 3.
PCGS# 38886. NGC ID: 237F.
