Lot Description

1863 Liberty Seated Quarter. Proof-65 (NGC). Steel gray mirrors and frosty devices on the obverse display wisps of rich blue iridescence, the reverse much the same but with fiery golden-orange highlights at the rim. One of just 460 Proofs of the date struck, the lowest Proof production run in the series after 1858.
