Lot Description

On Target Collection. Judd-239 (R.4). From the series depicting a "French head" obverse and a cereal wreath reverse, this variety features a fractional denomination over the nicely concave setting for DOLLAR on the reverse. A lint mark struck into the surface just right of 1859 provides a pedigree marker and this coin overall features significant reflectivity beneath a layer of salmon-grey toning. Wonderfully struck throughout.
