Lot Description

Undated (ca. 1694) London Elephant Token. Hodder 2-B, W-12040. GOD PRESERVE LONDON. Thick Planchet. VF-30 BN (NGC). Handsome deep copper surfaces exhibit moderate gloss to a pleasingly satin texture. Both sides are quite smooth overall, especially relative to the assigned grade, and we note only a few well scattered marks, tiny pits and minuscule border nicks that are easily forgiven.
