From JK's Mirror Collection. After 1964, the mint stopped producing traditional proof sets, and instead offered Special Mint Sets, a sort of hybrid between commercially struck coins and Proofs. The presently offered GEM has strong reflection in the fields and boldly struck, semi-frosted reliefs. PCGS 6, NGC 42. None are finer at PCGS within the CAM designation. The CU value is listed at $3,250 and the most recent PCGS graded example to sell in auction realized $3,565 back in April 2008. What an important opportunity for any advanced JFK collector. Cert.
