Lot Description

Missing the S-mintmark, this is a very popular modern rarity, a key to the Jefferson nickel series, the only such missing mintmark. The surfaces are pristine and very high end with DCAM contrast. Perhaps a few hundred were struck, and these are RARE in DCAM. PCGS 19, NGC 2. These have sold in the $2,400-$2,600 range and the PCGS Price Guide value is $2,750. Very rare finer. Cert.
