Lot Description

1895 Barber Half Dollar. MS-66+ (PCGS). CAC. Incredibly beautiful toning of rich crimson and sunset-russet is seen on the obverse and reverse, with the reverse showing a fair amount of teal around the rim. Fully lustrous beneath the toning and boldly struck. Examination of the surfaces finds little sign of contact, most unusual for this particular date, which is seldom found so well preserved. One of the finest seen by PCGS and a glorious example for a date and mint or type collector.
