1927-S Buffalo Nickel. MS-63 (PCGS). This is an attractive and original example displaying lemon-golden hues in a somewhat irregular fashion on each side. The luster is comprehensive and satiny, complementing the sharp strike and smooth surfaces throughout. Mint State survivors of any quality from the 1927-S issue are elusive, as most examples from the limited mintage of 3,430,000 pieces were claimed by circulation. PCGS# 3962. NGC ID: 22SA.
