Lot Description

We note bold, handsome color in chestnut-brown with overlying steely olive-charcoal at lower and left obverse, also throughout much of the reverse field. The texture is nice and glossy, the surfaces hard and smooth during in-hand viewing. Some ancient surface scale is associated with the darker color, but this is minimally detracting, especially given that neither side reveals any sizeable or otherwise significant marks. Well centered with all major design elements bold in a mid-grade example of this RR number. A desirable representative of both the type and variety that will draw many bids.
