Lot Description

A scarce issue that boasts a small mintage of 58,800 pieces. This is one of the finer examples that actually saw brief circulation. Lustrous fields with light golden-tan toning covering both sides, particularly the reverse. The surfaces are free of all but minuscule marks from handling. Reasonably sharp on all devices, save for the last star, which lacks its central radial lines. These are virtually unobtainable in high circulated grades, and some dates apparently do not exist in mint condition. A delightful coin in the perfect collector grade.
