"1796" (20th Century) Castorland Medal, or Jeton. Paris Mint Restrike. W-9165. Silver. Cornucopia 1 Edge. MS-64 (PCGS). 20th century restrike with reflective surfaces of pre-World War Two issues, with the post-World War I edge mark incorporating the "1" indicating .925 fine or sterling silver. Richly toned in dusky gray and rainbow hues, this is one of the finest certified example at PCGS for the Castorland restrike. Provenance: Population 1; 3 finer (65 finest). PCGS# 518539.
