1898 Barber Dime. Proof-67 (PCGS). Extraordinary superb gem quality for the date or type specialist who demands splendid surface quality and rich blue-gray toning with light rose-russet accents. The entire coin is toned, with no brilliant flashes of silver save for tiny flecks surrounding the wreath, and a light will induce the toning to show a colorful array of iridescent hues. One of the finest seen of this date, from a mintage of 735 pieces.
