Lot Description
FROM THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION PART III Despite a mintage of nearly 2.2 million this date is VERY RARE in any Mint State grade, and this BEAUTIFUL GEM is the SINGLE FINEST KNOWN! Radiating luster beams boldly with swirling cartwheel luster on both sides. The surfaces are satiny and quite clean with no breaks to the intense brilliance. Every detail has a sensational depth of definition, produced by an exacting blow from the dies. A blush of dappled olive-pewter on the reverse gives this gem a wonderful original look. PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. This coin does not appear to have sold in auction. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $15,000 but we think that this SOLE FINEST graded will bring a world record bid from a collector building the FINEST set. Good luck. Cert.
