1834 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-109. Rarity-1. Small Date, Small Letters. MS-64 (NGC). Highly lustrous, with a rich satiny sheen and an essentially brilliant appearance to the shimmering surfaces. Impressively bold striking definition is noted overall without the typical weakness so often seen. It is thought this is an early strike with new dies.
