- VERY high grade for the date, there are only a couple of examples graded higher, and these are recent additions to the Population Report. Wonderfully pearlescent silver lustrous surfaces beam with bold cartwheel affect that enlivens both sides of this SUPERB GEM 59-D. Sharply struck and displaying a touch of iridescent rose patina at the lower reverse. The excellent eye appeal is unmarred by a couple of unobtrusive ticks. PCGS 9, NGC 7. Only two examples have sold in auction, including one we sold in September 2019 for $9,694 and an example sold in April 2021 for $5,040. The Current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $10,000.
