Lot Description

1810 Classic Head Cent. S-283. Rarity-2. VF-35 (PCGS). Attractive, original medium brown surfaces with subtle traces of mint frost in the right side stars and legends. The dies were slightly misaligned and out of parallel causing some weakness of strike to the lower left obverse and corresponding reverse. Offers a bold, pleasing appearance overall and a level of surface quality and grade that is not easy to find on Classic Head cents.
